I love my new backpack from Djeco. Too small for me though.
I recently created the art for this card game. Fun monsters, knights, wizards, kings & queens, dragons, and even a dead dragon. I think it was the first time I ever illustrated a dead thing (well besides skeletons).
New! Pull Toy
This just came out. A new pull toy I created with Djeco, a very cool French toy company. It's nicely made out of wood. The heads are on springs and the front axel is offset so it bobs up and down as you pull it along.
New Collection from Crocodile Creek
Available anywhere crocodile Creek products are sold. Mostly at nice toy stores, gift stores and even some zoos. The easy way is to shop at crocodilecreek.com. There are over 20 different products using my art, including blocks, balls, puzzles, and tableware. Lunch box and backpacks are coming soon.
Connect & Play
I created these Connect & Play puzzles for Hallmark. They are puzzles that create a scene and come with play pieces. The cool thing about the product is that if you have more than one, you can connect the puzzles together making a larger world to play on.
Toy, Games & Puzzles
Bigsby is a Hallmark Story Buddy concept that incorporates voice recognition software that creates the illusion that a plush character hears and responds. I was responsible for the visual direction, designing the character, illustrating a series of four books and working on a companion app (free download on iTunes). I worked with concept designer Scott Swanson, who came up with the idea behind Bigsby and writer Jake Gahr.
Ornaments & Decor
Honestly, those hats look a lot cuter on baby heads.
I worked at Hallmark Cards for a long time. I've made thousands of greeting cards. Here is just a sampling.
Monster Rally was a memory card game produced by Hallmark Cards. It was one of those dream jobs. Monsters and cars, I spent most of my childhood drawing one or the other.
I've done a bunch of baby stuff. The Baby's first Christmas product was exclusive for the Babies-R-Us store. The other stuff is (or was) available at Hallmark.
Believe me, they look a lot cuter on a baby. I just didn't happen to have one handy.
This is available at your local Hallmark store. It's called a tooth and Curl set. I had never heard of it before, but I guess it's a little container for people to keepsake a lock of hair and a tooth from their baby. Sounds kind of odd to me, buts fun to design.
Baby Album with a matching plush firetruck (that lights up of course).
